  12.     A friend of mine is a non-computer type who has purchased an 
  13. Amiga 2000 for his professional work as an animator.  I want him to get
  14. connected to the Internet, BBS'es, etc, but I have no idea about the Amiga
  15. so don't know what shareware/freeware/commercial comm software is available.
  16. He has a modem I gave him, but how does he get the Amiga to talk to it?
  17. Is there comm software built in to the system?  Is there any simple freeware
  18. available that he can use, just to get going so that he can start downloading
  19. etc and decide for himself what he wants?

  21.     I only know OS/2, so I am lost on the AMIGA (though I must say that
  22. all the frequent posts in the OS/2 groups to "the Amiga did that ten years
  23. ago" seem to be fairly on point, from a 5 minute inspection of his system.
